New partnerships in Mathare...

Mathare in the second-largest slum in Nairobi, with half a million people living in five square kilometres. There is a small secondary school there, called the MCEDO school, and it is our newest Freedom Through Learning partner school. While our family visited from Canada, we visited the school so they could deliver over $500 worth of science supplies that they had purchased to donate to the school. We walked through Mathare and then spent a good amount of time at the school, meeting students and opening boxes of supplies. It will be a blessing to work with these educators and students.
