Service trip to the Taebaek Mountains

Cora & Brian recently spend a few quiet days with 21 middle schoolers living at Jesus Abbey, a monastic community in the Taebaek Mountains near the eastern coast of Korea. The kids divided their time between quiet, reflective study time and work time. Tasks included pulling weeks, raking leaves and clearing land for a new youth retreat centre at the 3 Seas Ranch.

Prom Fever!

A flurry of activity consumed Rebecca and Hannah on Friday evening (May 15). Hair, make-up, perfume, hair spray, jewelery... our two high schoolers prepped for Prom '09 in fine style. They were so beautiful and had a very fun evening. Rebecca and her gang even hired a stretch limo from Seoul so they could arrive at, and depart from, the prom in style. Today everyone is resting and recuperating and checking Facebook photos. They have been instructed to stop growing up!!!
