A new chameleon!

The other day we rescued yet another chameleon from the jaws of our cats. (How can they be so cute and wonderful and yet such terrible hunters??) We have lots of Jackson's chameleons (also known as 3-horned chameleons) in our yard but this one was definitely not of that variety. After doing some research, it turns out it is a High-Casqued chameleon. Who knew we had two varieties of these amazing reptiles in our yard? It was quite a beautiful creature and we hope our cats stay far, far away from it as it meanders in the wilds of the yard.
